FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Intro level is a 1 month commitment where we introduce the girls to the game at a once a week practice that focuses on learning the fundamentals.
Team Level is a minimum 2 month commitment with a practice once a week and then we apply those fundamentals and play a game on Saturdays with our games usually starting at 4:30pm. Our game location rotates weekly for all teams. A Girls Flag SD reversible jersey is included with your registration.
Competitive Level (travel) is a minimum 3 month commitment for the advanced player who can commit to our tournament schedule. This player has the basic fundamentals and can do skills at a high level with control, speed, and power. This player is ready to compete at high level tournaments.
1. WHEN/WHERE WILL THE PROGRAM BE HELD?
We offer 3 convenient locations. Central San Diego, North SD, and South SD. See #3 for an example of our rotating home team schedule. Our field locations can change based on availability.
2. WHEN WILL PRACTICES BE HELD?
After you register your daughter her coach will contact you with the practice time, location, and schedule for the month. Practices for players will be held at a local city park within your neighborhood (if possible) to make it convenient for parents and coaches. Typically practices are held once a week for an hour to an hour and a half. It is up to each individual coach to determine when and where practices will be held. Coaches are encouraged to work with players schedules since many players participate in multiple sports. Sometimes coaches get their team to the game an hour early to practice right before their game. This makes it only a 1-day/week commitment for the team.

*If we only have enough girls for 2 teams they will play each other on 4 Saturdays every month. All TEAM LEVEL girls receive a reversible jersey so we can mix and match the teams to keep it even. Our players/parents/coaches prefer this to keep it interesting and to avoid mismatches.
